Examination of Team Athletes' Perceptions of Orgaizational Policy
Abstract
ÖZET
Amaç: Bu araştırma takım sporcularının örgütsel politika algılarını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Betimsel bir
nitelik taşıyan bu araştırma tarama modeline göre gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Materyal ve Metod: Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Aydın ilinde; futbol, voleybol ve basketbol branşlarında
aktif olarak devam eden 157 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacılar
tarafından oluşturulan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ile Parasız (2021) tarafından geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması
yapılan “Takım Sporlarında Örgütsel Politika Algısı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkenini
örgütsel politika algısı, bağımsız değişkenlerini ise cinsiyet, lisanslı sporcu olma yılı, branş ve kaptanlık
durumu oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama süreci sonucunda elde dilen bulgular bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmış,
verilerin çözüm ve yorumlanmasında betimsel istatistikler (frekans, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma), t-testi
ve tek faktörlü varyans analizi (One-Way ANOVA) testi kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Yapılan analizler neticesinde araştırmaya dahil edilen takım sporcularını örgütsel politika algıları
cinsiyet, lisanslı sporcu olma süresi, branş ve kaptanlık yapma durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık
göstermemektedir
Sonuç:. Katılımcıların örgütsel politika algılarının orta seviyede olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT
Aim: This research aims to examine the organizational policy perceptions of team athletes.
Material and Method: This research, which has a descriptive nature, was carried out according to the scanning
model. The study group of the research is in Aydın province; consists of 157 active players in football,
volleyball and basketball branches. The "Personal Information Form" created by the researchers and the
"Organizational Policy Perception in Team Sports Scale", the validity and reliability study of which was
conducted by Parasız (2021), were used as data collection tools in the research. The dependent variable of the
study is the perception of organizational policy, and the independent variables are gender, years of being a
licensed athlete, branch and captain status. The findings obtained as a result of the data collection process were
transferred to the computer environment, and descriptive statistics (frequency, arithmetic mean, standard
deviation), t-test and one-factor analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA) test were used in the analysis and
interpretation of the data.
Results: As a result of the analyzes made, the organizational policy perceptions of the team athletes included
in the research do not differ significantly according to the variables of gender, duration of being a licensed
athlete, branch and being a captain.
Conclussions:. It was determined that the organizational policy perceptions of the participants were at a
moderate level.
