Read more about SPORTDiscus with Full TextAnatolia Sport Research (ASR) was established in 2020 and is a refereed sports field electronic journal that publishes three times a year (March-April, July-August, November-December). The Journal has been founded under the leadership of Eser AĞGÖN (Prof. Dr. at Marmara University).
Anatolia Sport Research follows a double blind peer review policy. Whether or not the works sent to the journal will be published is decided according to the evaluations of at least two blind referees determined by the editors. If one of the two referees does not find the publication suitable, the decision to be published is given if the third referee considers it appropriate.
The content of the articles, all kinds of articles and visuals published in the journal and the legal responsibilities that may arise from them belong to the authors themselves. Publications that are below this rate and contrary to academic method and ethics are rejected or requested to be rewritten. In scientific papers to be sent to the journal, the recommendations of ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) and COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards should be taken into consideration.
The Anatolia Sport Research is a fee-based journal. A submission fee is charged regardless of the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.
The decision made by the Interuniversity Board (ÜAK) in the General Assembly held on 07.03.2019 is as follows:
The following types of journals can be used in associate professorship applications (in the declaration):
• Journals that charge a fee at the time of manuscript submission, regardless of acceptance or rejection
• Subscription-based journals that charge a fee to make a specific article open access
• Journals that do not charge authors any fees during the publication process
Since the Journal of Anatolia Sport Research charges a fee regardless of acceptance or rejection, no refunds are issued.
Payment of the submission fee does not guarantee that the submitted manuscript will be published. All authors are expected to consider this process before submitting their work.
Manuscripts for which the fee has not been paid will not be processed.
Note:
Dear Author, the fee is charged for services including preliminary evaluation, peer review, editorial review, language editing, secretarial work, and layout/formatting checks.
Please make sure to indicate your Manuscript ID when requesting information. Manuscripts submitted without the payment will not be processed.
Submission Fee: 100 EUR (VAT included — authors must transfer the equivalent amount in Turkish Lira (₺) based on the EUR exchange rate on the day of payment.)
